This game is an annoying fun game.
There are so much things right, but so much things wrong its insane. However, they really have perfected a gameplay that keeps me coming back for more.
The reason why I'm so annoyed about this game is the achievements.
1 is impossible, as it required getting to level 30 in the beta of the game.
1 requires getting Master rank. A near-impossible achievement to get, but something I would still respect as an achievement.
3 of them are of some of the most vexing achievements in existence:
Get 30 characters to level 10
Get 30 characters to level 15
Get 30 characters to level 20
I currently have the achievement to get 30 characters at level 10. This is with over 210 hours of playtime, mind you, with a lot of others scattered in there.
Not all levels are equal, and it takes more time to go to each level as you level up.
Someone has done the math to see how many hours it would take for the other two. If you were dedicating your time using the best gamemode, account & party booster active, playing really well and with a 100% winrate, it would take 2100 hours to get this achievement.
Under normal circumstances, it would take roughly 9600 hours or 400 days straight.
Despite having access to all the champions, I am limited to only the 30 I will get to level 15 & 20. So with these barriers in mind, I have access to a smaller roster of playable characters than people that simply don't care.
This issue can simply be fixed if as a player, you could buy levels with coins. Considering they are practically useless when gems are already there and the more valuable currency, I believe this would even out its utility.
That aside, this is a very fun game. It's almost addicting with how good the gameplay loop feels. I genuinely enjoy this over Overwatch and most other Team-Based shooters. I recommend it.
